Glenn Wakai

Glenn Wakai (born May 14, 1967), is a member of the Democratic Party, represents the 15th senatorial district in the Hawaii State Legislature. Wakai was first elected to the seat in 2010. His predecessor was Norman Sakamoto who unsuccessfully ran for the Lt. Governor's seat in that year.

Wakai formally represented the 31st Representative District in the Hawaii State House of Representatives of the Hawaii State Legislature from 2002 to 2010.

Wakai, a veteran of three years as a reporter with KHNL and four years before that with KHON-TV, first ran for elective office in 2002.
