Notes

Ran unopposed in 2000 and 2002.

Ran also on Working Families line in 2002.

Maziarz was among five Senate Republicans who were put on the Working Families ballot line by WFP as a move to entice Senate Republicans to vote for a minimum wage increase. (New York Sun, 8/9/04)

Maziarz competed with Michael Nozzolio and Thomas Libous for chairmanship of the Senate Republican Campaign Committee in the summer of 2004, to replace the ousted Guy Vellela. "Sen. George Maziarz , R-Niagara, urged Joseph Bruno to appoint him to chair the committee because he's an 'outsider.'" (Syracuse Post-Standard, 7/11/04)
