Frank Shields, (born March, 1945 in New Castle, PA), is the current Oregon State Senator for District 24.

Background
Frank Shields is a retired Methodist Minister and was first elected to the Oregon Legislature in 1993. He was re-elected in 1995 and again in 1997 before moving to the Senate in 1999. He was re-elected to the state senate in 2002, beating Republican candiate Cletus Moore, Jr.
He is also a current Board Member to Mt. Hood Community College.
Education
Doctor of Divinity, Drew University.
Governmental Experience
Oregon House of Representatives 1993-1998, Oregon Senate 1999-2002.
