Faye Hanohano

Faye Hanohano, a Democrat, was elected to represent the 4th representative district in the Hawaii State Legislature in 2006.
From the Hawaii Island Journal dated September 2006, Peter Serafin reports:
- Hanohano works as a corrections officer at the Kulani Correctional Facility and is a union official with the Hawai'i chapter of the AFL-CIO. She was once a lecturer in Hawaiian Studies at Hawai'i Community College and holds an MBA. She would like to build a community center in Pahoa and says she will work for increased educational and outreach programs for residents.
- She also favors increased police and medical services for the district, and wants the state to provide money to bring water service to areas currently without it. [1]
