Erwin Roberts

Erwin Roberts was Kentucky's first Director of Homeland Security. He joined Gov. Ernie Fletcher's administration in March 2004, and later served as Fletcher's Secretary of the Personnel Cabinet. He left in June 2006 and is now an attorney at a Louisville law firm.

Roberts was an un-indicted co-conspirator in the hiring scandal that surrounded Gov. Fletcher.

Roberts is contemplating a challenge to U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth in 2008.
