Elwyn Tinklenberg

Elwyn Tinklenberg (D) is a former Methodist minister from Minnesota. In 1986, he was elected mayor of Blaine, a rapidly growing northern suburb, and then he was the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation from 1998-2002.

He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for the open U.S. House seat in the Sixth district, see Minnesota Federal Elections, 2006.
