Drh, pages aren't really organized heirarchically, so dKosopedia:Projects:Analysis:The Record of George W Bush:Budget is simply a page of that name, a page containing colons, instead of part of a heirarchy under dKosopedia:Projects. It took me a bit of getting used to too. Namespaces, which is what the ":" denotes, are something different than what you think they are. As a suggestion, try making a page of "The Record of George W Bush" as a jumping off point to different pages, one of which is a page called something like "George W Bush Budget Record". That may not be the best way to organize it, but as other people add their own pages, say on his Environment Record, a better scheme should emerge. That's one of the coolest things about a wiki: you don't need to design everything correctly up front, it naturally evolves into what makes the most sense. -- Centerfielder 09:10, 16 Oct 2004 (PDT)
By the way, I really like this project. After it's simplified somewhat it's probably worth linking to off the Main Page --Centerfielder 09:10, 16 Oct 2004 (PDT)
ok, the namespace without a hierarchy drives me nuts. but i'm starting to understand the wiki philosophy now that i'm editing the pages. btw, is there a list of supported browsers for the wiki? safari on macosx doesn't work (the wiki toolbar that is). --drh 14:28, 16 Oct 2004 (PDT)
Hmmm. I use Safari, and have no problem. I think the only thing the edit toolbar does is give you an example of how to format something, just under the toolbar itself. -- Centerfielder 19:42, 16 Oct 2004 (PDT)
