Doug Wilder

Doug Wilder was the first African American to be elected Governor of a US state. He served as Virginia's governor from 1990-1994. His Lt. Governor was Don Beyer, a virginia businessman and possible candidate in 2006, challenging George Allen.

Mr. Wilder is currently Mayor of Richmond, Virginia.
