Doug Shull

From dKosopedia

Doug Shull is a Republican from Iowa, and a former member of the State Senate. He is a CPA and a retired executive from Casey's General Stores. Unfortunately, in 2006, his wife was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

After the 2004 elections, when State Senate Republicans lost four seats, Shull joined a movement to remove their leader, Stewart Iverson and replace him with Jeff Lamberti; however, that effort failed, and Shull lost his committee chairmanship.

For both family and political reasons, Shull ran for a State House seat in 2006, but lost to the incumbent, see Iowa State House elections, 2006.
