Donzella James

In 2002, Donzella James was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for Georgia's 13th U.S. House District. David Scott defeated her in the primary, and went on to win the general election. In 2004, she was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for State Senate District 35, the seat she resigned to run for Congress in 2002; she lost this race to Senator Kasim Reed. In 2006, she once again challenged Rep. Scott in the primary for U.S. House district 13, see Georgia U.S. House election, 2006, but she also lost that race. She is the current 13th Congressional
