Donna Ikeda

Donna Ikeda previously served for 22 years in the state Legislature, including part of that time as chair of the Senate Ways and Means Committee. She served on the Board of Education from 2000-02, resigned to run for Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii, and was elected to her current term as an Oahu at-large member in 2006. Ikeda was unopposed for the position of chairwoman in December of 2007. She served as chair of the Board of Education from December 2007 to December 2008.
