Donald Ikeda

Donald Ikeda was elected to represent the 2nd Council District of Hawaii County in November 2004. This is Ikeda's entry into elective politics. The 2nd Council district includes South Hilo (Amaulu, Puueo, portions of Downtown Hilo, Lanakila, Waianuenue, Kaumana, Ainako, Piihonua, portions of Waiakea Homesteads).
Donald Ikeda is a retired county legislative assistant and former county clerk. He is a graduate of the University of California with a degree in business and accounting. He was born and raised in Hilo, where he was a small business owner for many years.
