Dinesh D'Souza

From dKosopedia

Dinesh D'Souza is a conservative intellectual competing in an increasingly crowded but clearly shrinking market for wingnut denunications of liberal America. In his 2006 The Enemy at Home he accuses liberal America of responsibility for 9/11. In the end this will be no more effective than the other attempts to deflect public recognition of conservative, largely Republican responsibility for the blowback from support for Sunni Islamists during the Soviet-Afghan War.

D'Souza's argument in The Enemy at Home is that Osama bin Laden and fellow Sunni Salafi islamists used evil tactics but that their basic critique of America is legitimate. What D'Souza admits then is that his neo-conservative values parallel those of America's enemies.
