Daynette Morikawa

Daynette 'Dee' Morikawa (D) represents the 16th representative district on the Hawaii State Legislature. Morikawa defeated incumbent Roland Sagum III in the September 18, 2010 primary. Morikawa then defeated Phil Sterker her Republican opponent for this seat in the November 2010 general election.

House district 16 includes the islands of Niihau and Lehua and includes the areas of Koloa and Waimea on the island of Kauai.
