David Hahn

David Hahn (b. 1955, Omaha) was the Democratic candidate for governor of Nebraska, but he lost to the incumbent, see Nebraska gubernatorial election, 2006. Hahn, a fifth generation Nebraskan, grew up in Stromsburg and Schuyler, Nebraska. As an attorney, David Hahn's legal practice was devoted to defending family-owned farms and ranches in Nebraska to prevent their dissolution. Hahn is presently CEO of New Digital Group, an Internet development company based in Lincoln. He is married to Ruth Davidson Hahn, and has three children.
During the gubernatorial campaign, he said that he would have vetoed the law that re-segregated Omaha's schools. He also opposed any attempt to copy South Dakota's draconian anti-abortion law.
