David Cameron

David Cameron is the current Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. In the May 10, 2010 general election, the Conservative Party gained a majority of seats in the parliament and Cameron was appointed Prime Minister on May 11, 2010, the head of a coalition between the Conservative Party and the Liberal Democratic Party. Cameron is the Eton-educated party leader of the Tories or British Conservative and Unionist Party.

Along with various other governments across the world, Cameron's government has been engaged in a series of cuts in social services, education, benefits, and public service employment in the name of austerity.

On October 25, 2006 Cameron published a model climate change bill in an effort to pressure the Labour Party government of Tony Blair to adopt cardon emissions reduction targets.
