David Brin

Glen David Brin is a well known science fiction and popular science author. The winner of the Hugo Award, Nebula Award and Interstella War Award, he lives in Southern California. In addition to his writing he has worked as a NASA consultant and a physics professor. His nonfiction 1998 book, The Transparent Society argues that attempting to protect confidential information is futile and that public policy should favor open access to public and personal information.
