Dan Lee

From dKosopedia

s29.gif

Dan Lee (R-29 LaGrange) was elected to the Georgia state senate in 1998. A Democrat, he served 2 terms before switching to the Republican party in December 2002, making him one of 4 party-switches to give Republicans control of the chamber.

In honor of his backstabbing, fellow turncoat Sonny Perdue made Lee Floor Leader. Court-drawn district maps placed him in the same area as fellow Republican senator Seth Harp. In spite of an endorsement from Perdue, Lee lost his primary challenge.
