Charles Robb

Charles Robb was the Governor of Virginia from 1982 to 1986 and a Democratic U.S. Senator from 1989 to 2000. In the Senate, he was elected in a landslide in 1988, then barely won reelection in 1994 against Oliver North. He was narrowly defeated by former Gov. George Allen in 2000.

In March 2006, he was appointed to the Iraq Study Group.
