- In December 2005 Taylor issued a press release urging support for supporting H.R. 4437, the Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act. Would seem that he favors getting North Carolinian agri-business its poorly paid foreign Hispanic workers while also appealing for votes from economically threatened working class North Carolinians anxious about Hispanic immigration generally.
