Changi Airport

Singapore Changi International Airport is a major aviation hub in Southeast Asia located in Changi, 20 km east northeast of the centre of Singapore. Operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, or CAAS, Changi Airport is the home base of Singapore Airlines and served by 78 other airlines.

The airport hosts roughly four thousand flights per week to 177 cities worldwide. The airport employs over 13,000 people and accounts for over S$ 4.5 billion in output. In addition to being an important passenger traffic hub, the airport is one of world's busiest airports by cargo, handling 1,780,000 tonnes of cargo in 2004.
