Talk:Canada and the 2004 Summer Olympics

- DRolfe 02:31, 28 Jul 2005 (PDT) - Can I ask what the point of this article is in the first place? How does this enrich The Free Political Encyclopedia?
- --Lemuel 12:42, 28 Jul 2005 (PDT) It was added by user "Truth Revealed", who then added another, shall we say, more controversial article about Canada. He then went back to this Olympic article and added insulting remarks about Canada. I suggested deleting both articles. Lestatdelc cleaned up this one and added actual content to it, and then he redirected the other article to Chickenhawk. Truth Revealed has since tried to revert the changes multiple times; I caught him once and Centerfielder caught him once. There may be more (I haven't looked at the changelog). This one's clean now, so it might as well stay, but the other one should be deleted by whoever has the power to do it.
- Insulting political articles are fine: don't be blackmailed into removing insulting politics just in order to also remove pointless irrelevance. Link to Wikipedia for sports stuff.
- Something like Canada (Republican view) is perfectly fine for the insults
- DRolfe 18:06, 28 Jul 2005 (PDT) - Sheesh ok. Well to let a sysop know about deletion, add the link Votes for Deletion (case sensitive).
- Hasn't this been taken care of yet?
