Bill Renick

From dKosopedia

Bill Renick (D) was the Chief of Staff for both former Mississippi Governor Ronnie Musgrove and former Lt. Gov. Eddie Briggs. His public service record in Mississippi spans 35 years and includes service as an alderman and mayor of [[Ashland, Mississippi], Benton County supervisor, and state senator.

Both of Renick's parents were teachers, and his grandfather was a Superintendent of Education. When he ran for the Mississippi State Senate, he was endorsed by every teacher in Benton county.

He ran for Governor, but lost the primary, see Mississippi gubernatorial election, 2007.

Renick and his wife Debbie have two grown children, and they attend the Ashland Baptist Church, which is where most of the votes are to be found.
