Bill Fairbrother earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science from Baylor University in 1988. This was followed by a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics from Indiana University in 1990.
Bill has over 13 years of experience in the high-tech computer industry. He was a Lead Performance Analyst responsible for analyzing and improving the performance of a large scale, client/server system designed to run on OS/2, Windows, and UNIX platforms. He has also held several lead positions as a designer, developer, or performance analyst in other object oriented, GUI based, workstation projects and has extensive experience in C, C++, Java, CGI, HTML, Perl as well as other Internet technologies. Additionally, Bill has authored internal and external papers on performance of Internet related products leading to increased visibility and acceptance of products.
Bill has been active in politics since 1984 when he joined the Baylor University College Republicans. Since then, he has served as a delegate to four Republican Party of Texas state conventions and an alternate delegate to one convention.
At the 2000 Republican Party of Texas Convention, Bill was elected by his fellow county chairs to serve as the Texas Republican County Chairmen's Association's liaison to the State Republican Executive Committee. He was also selected as an alternate delegate to the RNC Convention in Philadelphia.
Bill currently serves as Chairman of the Williamson County Republican Party and has previously served as a Precinct Chairman and chairman of the county Technology Committee. He also chaired his senate district convention's Credentials Committee. Bill has chaired or volunteered on many local and state campaigns in recent election cycles. He is the founder and webmaster for the Williamson County Republican Party web page. Bill recently served on the Republican Party of Texas Finance Committee.
Bill is the founder and past president of the Williamson County YRs and has served in several offices at the state and national level. Among those offices are Regional Director, National Committeeman, SREC Liaison and National YR Webmaster. He has also chaired and served on YR committees at the state and national level.

In January of 1999, I left my job as a performance analyst with IBM, and went into business for myself. I operate as Fairbrother Consulting Services, where I am concentrating on programming, and am a partnner in GOPUSA.com, a web design and maintenance company also specialializing in delivering the conservative message on the internet.
I handle everything from web design, application programming, IT work, office installation, project management, and comapign consulting.
Politics is a full-time (unfortunately unpaid) labor of love for me. In February of 1999, I was elected Chairman of the Williamson County Republican Party. In 2002, I ran unopposed. I will be running for another 2 year term in 2004. I am an officer in the Texas Republican County Chairmen's Association, and was honored to be chosen as an alternate delegate to the 2000 Republican National Convention.
